Girl's Student Tap Shoe

This is my granddaughter's first year of tap. The shoes arrived well within the time alotted. They fit well with a little room to grow. I am very happy with the quality and would definitely recommend them.

Bought these for my daughter's dance class and they are great shoes. They run a bit small, so buy a size bigger. They are durable, but they didn't send me the color in the picture. I got black ones instead. That was fine, though.

They are really stiff though. Although my daughter never complained, they just did not seem very comfortable to me. I would also recommend buying them a size up - they seemed pretty snug.

I bought these tap shoes thinking that they were the blue color as depicted. However, if you look carefully, in small letters below the big photo of the blue tap shoes, it says black patent. Since I purchased these shoes, this has changed so it now says in larger, bold type Color: Black Patent. I waited a long time for these shoes to reach me and sent an email to the sellers but received no reply. I had a box ready to ship to Canada for my g-daughter's birthday (where my g-daughter lives) and I went ahead and sent it since it was already late and I couldn't wait any longer for the shoes. I had to send the shoes separately. When they arrived I was sorely disappointed to see that they were the run-of-the-mill black patent tap shoes and not the snazzy blue suede ones that seemed to be advertised. I do not appreciate this sort of deception in marketing. I would have returned the black patent shoes but I had to pay for shipping to me and if I had to pay for return shipping it would have cost me almost the full price of the shoes to do so. So I just mailed these up to my g-daughter with an apology. That photo with the blue shoes should be replaced with an accurate picture. Also, with other Amazon products, I can select a shoe color and when I do, the picture changes to reflect my choice. This should have happened with this shoe so I would have known what I would be receiving.
