The center of the band is polished and the outside is brushed so it really stands out. The band has a double lock. The info tag attached from the manufacture has a price tag of $275.00. So as always, Amazon gives us a great deal for our money!
This is the second one that I have purchased and I must say this watch holds up to just about anything you could throw at it. The first purchased in 2007 and worn constantly survived at least 150+ Ocean dives, as well as cutting and splitting firewood, but sadly passed in an accident in the woodshop - - it saved my wrist from what could have been a very nasty cut. Was so pleased to be able to get a replacement. Highly recomend great quality for the money.
I had previously tried to buy a number of different Seiko watches from Amazon but, for some unknown reason, they were not available for shipping to Australia. As I needed a sturdy watch for work I thought I'd try the Invicta 8932 and was very pleasantly surprised.
It's an excellent watch and good value for money. For me it's a good size (not too large) and it looks a quality watch. One very minor critisism and that is that the Manufacturer's name is engraved on the side of the watch. I can't understand why as it doesn't add value to the watch and must increase cost, even if fractionally. The odd thing is that when being worn the engraving is not easily seen anyway.
In short the watch is highly recommended.
I own and owned several different watches (Seiko, Tag, Longines, Omega, Reactor, etc.)and Invicta was by far the worst. I wore the watch a total of 5 times, and during that brief time the links were completely scuffed and the glass was shattered rendering the watch useless.
I contacted Invicta to explain the situation, and after about 25 e-mails they came to the conclusion that I should pay $70 for the glass repair.
Now, I am not sure about any of you people out there, but a watch should last longer than 5 wears. I've actually bought knock off watches in Chinatown that are still ticking away. This watch was a complete failure.
It was my first Invicta watch, which I recieved as a gift. I gave Invicta the chance to prove me wrong, but they were so greedy that they wanted to charge me for a watch that broke down in a week.
How is it possible for a watch to break down so quickly, none of my other watches broke down in that manner. Maybe I got a bad watch, but Invicta made it clear that they were not repairing anything for free.
If you're readin this, go with a Seiko or any other brand for that matter since it'll probably last more than a week.
